Linda Vista Feeding Center
Linda Vista, meaning "Beautiful View", is the original feeding center that SendMe Refuge started in the beginning. It is in the original stomping grounds, "The Dump". Linda Vista employees one person from the community to cook the food, feed the kids, and clean up afterwards. This feeding center feeds around 40 kids per day providing them a protein filled meal, vitamins, and a clean, safe to drink juice. Linda Vista also doubles as a school to help bring education to those who can not afford to attend the government schools or to get their education up to par with the entry education level.
Centro De Esperanza Feeding Center
Centro De Esperanza, meaning "Center of Hope", or otherwise known as Esperanza, is the second feeding center SendMe Refuge built. Esperanza feeds approximately from 40 to 50 kids per day. This meal provides protein, vitamins, and drinkable juice that will not get the kids sick. Esperanza employees two local ladies from the community to help cook, serve, and clean the dishes and the feeding center.
Eres Amado Feeding Center
Eres Amado, meaning "You Are Loved", is the third feeding center SendMe Refuge has built. Eres Amado feeds from 90 to 110 kids a day. This community may be one of the poorest we work in but the move of God is undeniable and their love is infectious. This feeding center is ran by the mothers and grandmothers of the community providing protein meals, vitamins, and safe drinks to drink. These women volunteer certain days a week to cook, serve, and clean the dishes and feeding center. The lot that Eres Amado sits on also has an elementary school built on it where SendMe Refuge partnered with the local government to have it built.
